Agency Power has developed a new air filter for the Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo. While riding and slinging up sand or dirt, it is highly possible for the intake to pick up those particles and suck them through a dry filter. This can be damaging for the engine and makes for a mess that no one wants to clean, inside the intake. The new Agency Power cotton filter has oil that is sprayed on the eight layer thick cotton pleats. The oil is formulated to catch and hold onto dirt particles that could potentially end up inside the engine. Being that the filter media is eight layers thick, it allows air to pass through unhindered by the dirt caught in the outside layers. The high tack oil, combined with the eight layer thick cotton, prevents any particles from seeping past the cotton and ending up inside the intake. Cleaning the Agency Power oiled filter is as simple as using an off the shelf filter cleaner and following their instructions.
